I am Julie Petrou, the mastermind behind Julieuncharted.com. I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest and have never lived anywhere else. I have worn many hats in my day, but the author hat came late in life, although I feel as though I'd spent years missing out on building upon my passion.
I have been blessed with so many great things in my life, it's as if writing is the crescendo to a beautiful masterpiece. I have had the honor of being daughter, mother, wife, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend (forgive me if I forget one or two in there), and as far as I can see, this won't be slowing down. I thrive in the outdoors, love hiking, biking, walking my dogs, gardening, and, most of all, creating deep, interesting stories that resonate with readers.
I'm semi-retired and following a dream. Who could ask for more?
